CalmChain is a mobile + web crisis-intervention coordination app for real-world support networks (friends, family, roommates, resident advisors, peer supporters). It turns a chaotic moment into a structured, time-boxed plan: who is with the person, what’s been tried, what’s the risk level, and what the next step is. The app provides checklists for de-escalation, safety planning, and when to call local emergency services, plus a shared timeline so helpers don’t repeat questions or miss critical details. It also supports “role cards” (caller, in-person support, logistics, childcare/pets, clinician contact) and one-tap sharing of location and relevant medical info (with consent). This is not a therapy replacement; it’s a coordination and documentation tool designed to reduce delays, confusion, and harmful miscommunication during high-stress situations.
