The app supports major consumer cameras via guided setup links and QR-based checklists rather than pretending it can fully unify every vendor’s video feed. It focuses on the unsexy but constant problems: forgotten shared logins, ex-tenants retaining access, missing devices, and disputes after incidents. For properties that want more, CamLease adds optional AI-assisted incident summaries from exported clips (not continuous surveillance) to help with insurance and police reports. Expect some manual steps—device vendor lock-in is real—but the workflow reduces risk and time spent chasing access issues.
