CanarySpec

CanarySpec is a web app that continuously watches the web standards ecosystem (WHATWG, W3C, TC39, Web Platform Tests, and major browser release notes) and turns the firehose into actionable alerts for product teams. You define your “surface area” (APIs you rely on, CSS features, security headers, form behaviors, etc.), and CanarySpec flags upcoming changes, deprecations, and interoperability shifts that are likely to affect your site or library. It links each alert to the underlying spec issue/PR, relevant WPT results, and browser version timelines, then suggests concrete mitigation tasks (feature detection, polyfill strategy, fallback CSS, test additions). This is not a magic compliance badge; it’s a pragmatic early-warning and triage system so teams stop discovering breakage in production. It’s a traditional app with light AI assistance for summarization and prioritization.
