CancelGuard is a mobile + web app that helps people actually cancel subscriptions and avoid the classic runaround. It connects to your email and bank/credit card feeds to detect recurring charges, then generates the exact cancellation path for each merchant (in-app steps, phone scripts, or a prefilled email/chat message). If a company makes cancellation intentionally painful, CancelGuard can send certified cancellation notices, store evidence (timestamps, screenshots, emails), and set automatic dispute reminders if charges continue. It also tracks free trials, renewal dates, and “price creep,” prompting you to renegotiate or downgrade before the next bill. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used to classify subscriptions, extract cancellation instructions from emails/web pages, and draft messages; the core value is workflow + evidence, not vague “insights.”
