CancelPilot is a mobile + web AI-assisted app that hunts down recurring expenses and helps you eliminate them with minimal effort. It connects to your bank via Plaid, identifies subscriptions and “quiet” recurring charges (insurance add-ons, app renewals, memberships), and ranks them by savings potential and cancellation difficulty. For easy cancellations, it generates step-by-step instructions and deep links; for harder ones, it drafts concise emails and call scripts tailored to the merchant’s policy. It also flags price hikes and suggests cheaper alternatives (e.g., switching streaming tiers or phone plans) with a realistic estimate of savings. The app tracks outcomes, reminds you if a merchant ignores requests, and shows a simple “savings ledger” so you can see what actually stuck. This is not magic: some merchants make cancellation painful, and the app can’t force refunds—but it can make the process dramatically faster and more consistent.
