CanineFit is a mobile + web app for SAR K9 teams to track operational readiness with objective, auditable data. Handlers log training sessions, heat/altitude exposure, rest, injuries, and certification milestones; the app turns that into a simple readiness score and a “deploy/no-deploy” checklist tailored to the dog and mission type. It also stores vet notes, vaccination records, and gear checklists so teams stop scrambling before deployments. This is not a flashy consumer dog app—it's a compliance and risk-reduction tool for volunteer teams that often run on spreadsheets and memory. The AI component summarizes recent training and health signals into a short briefing for the incident commander and flags patterns like overtraining, recurring paw injuries, or heat stress risk. Offline-first design matters because SAR happens where cell service doesn’t.
