CanonCheck is a web + mobile AI-assisted reference tool for Catholic parish staff and ministry leaders who constantly ask, “Are we allowed to do this?” It provides plain-language guidance on common scenarios (sacraments, records, funerals, marriage prep, RCIA, facility use, liturgy roles) with citations to the Code of Canon Law, GIRM, diocesan norms you upload, and vetted pastoral resources. It’s not a replacement for a pastor, tribunal, or chancery; it’s a triage and documentation tool that reduces back-and-forth emails and prevents avoidable mistakes. Users can save “decision notes” for a case, generate a checklist for next steps, and export a summary for the pastor or diocesan office. The app lives or dies on trust: every answer shows sources, confidence, and when to escalate. Without strong diocesan buy-in, adoption will be slow.
