CanonGrid

CanonGrid is a web + desktop app (Electron) for world-builders who keep losing track of their own lore. It’s a structured “canon database” for characters, locations, factions, magic systems, timelines, and rules, with strict cross-linking and contradiction detection. You enter facts as atomic claims (e.g., “City X bans magic after Year 312”), attach sources/notes, and the app flags conflicts when you add new info. An AI assistant can propose missing connections, generate quick summaries, and suggest questions to fill gaps, but it never overwrites canon without explicit approval. Export clean wiki pages, series bibles, and timeline views for writing tools. This is not a generic notes app: it’s built around consistency, traceability, and retrieval—so you can actually finish a project instead of drowning in scattered docs.
