CanonSync

CanonSync is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) that creates a practical “system of record” layer for mid-market companies drowning in duplicate customer, vendor, and asset data across SaaS tools. It connects to common sources (ERP, CRM, HRIS, ticketing, data warehouse), ingests entities, and enforces survivorship rules (which field wins, when, and why). It maintains an auditable change log, supports bidirectional sync with conflict detection, and exposes a clean API so downstream apps can trust a single authoritative profile. This is not a full MDM suite; it’s a narrower, faster-to-deploy canonicalization service focused on 3–5 core entity types and a small set of connectors. An AI assist helps suggest matching rules and dedupe candidates, but humans approve changes. The goal is fewer billing mistakes, fewer support escalations, and less time wasted arguing which system is “right.”
