CanonTrace
CanonTrace is a web + mobile AI-assisted study tool that helps serious readers compare scripture passages across translations, manuscript families, and historical editions without needing a seminary library. Users pick a verse, then see a clean “variant map” showing where wording diverges, what the major textual witnesses say, and how that impacts meaning (with confidence levels and citations). It also includes a lightweight theology notebook: users can save a claim (e.g., “this doctrine depends on X wording”), attach supporting passages, and export a sourced report for teaching or personal study. The app is intentionally conservative about claims: it flags uncertainty, avoids overconfident paraphrases, and links every summary back to primary sources. This is not a sermon generator; it’s a transparency-first study companion for people who want to understand what the text actually says and why editions differ.
