CanopyCoach

CanopyCoach is a mobile + web app that helps skydivers objectively improve canopy flight and landings using phone GPS, barometer, and optional smartwatch data. It auto-detects each jump’s canopy phase, then generates a simple debrief: pattern shape, turn points, glide ratio, flare timing proxy, sink rate trends, and landing consistency over time. Users can tag conditions (wind, wing loading, canopy type) and compare performance across similar scenarios. A lightweight AI layer summarizes “what changed” between good and bad landings and suggests one focused drill (e.g., consistent downwind leg length, earlier base turn) based on the user’s history—not generic tips. DZs and coaches can create shared groups to review students’ tracks, leave comments, and track progression. This is not a replacement for instruction; it’s a data-backed training log that makes coaching more efficient.
