CapPlanr is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for resource allocation that starts from real capacity, not wishful project plans. It connects to your time tracking (or lightweight in-app timesheets) and builds a rolling 8–12 week capacity forecast by team, role, and skill. Managers can drag-and-drop work, set priority rules, and instantly see over/under-allocation, context switching, and deadline risk. The app focuses on “good enough” planning for SMBs: simple scenario planning (hire vs. contractor vs. defer), basic cost rates, and a single source of truth for who is doing what next. It avoids enterprise bloat—no complex PPM implementations. An AI assistant can suggest rebalancing options and highlight hidden bottlenecks, but humans approve changes. Exportable reports help justify staffing decisions to finance and leadership.
