CapTableIQ is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps angel investors quickly sanity-check a startup’s cap table and financing terms before committing. Founders upload a cap table export (Carta/Pulley spreadsheet) plus the latest SAFE/notes/term sheet. The app parses ownership, option pool math, liquidation preferences, pro-rata rights, and dilution scenarios, then generates a plain-English “investor risk brief” with the top issues to clarify. It also produces a clean Q&A checklist for founders and flags inconsistencies across documents (e.g., mismatched share counts, unissued options, side letters, unusual MFN clauses). This is not a replacement for legal counsel; it’s a fast triage tool that saves time and prevents obvious mistakes. Pricing targets individual angels and small syndicates with per-deal credits and a lightweight workspace for tracking deals and notes.
