CapTableIQ is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps early-stage founders keep their cap table clean, auditable, and investor-ready from day one. Founders import equity grants, SAFEs/notes, option pools, and vesting schedules, then the app continuously flags common landmines: missing board approvals, inconsistent dates, broken vesting, SAFE conversion edge cases, and dilution surprises across scenarios. An AI assistant explains issues in plain English, generates investor-friendly summaries, and drafts “to-do” checklists for your lawyer/accountant—without pretending to replace them. The product focuses on the messy pre-Series A reality: spreadsheets, partial documents, and founders who don’t know what they don’t know. Exportable reports (financing scenarios, fully-diluted ownership, pro-forma cap table) reduce back-and-forth during fundraising and diligence. The goal is not fancy charts; it’s preventing expensive mistakes and speeding up closes.
