CapTableOS

CapTableOS is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps early-stage VCs and founders keep cap tables, SAFEs, notes, and option pools accurate and audit-ready before a round. Instead of replacing Carta, it sits upstream: it ingests deal docs (SAFE/Note/SPA), extracts key terms, flags inconsistencies (missing MFN, incorrect discount, stale 409A, unissued options), and produces a “round readiness” report that investors can trust. The product is an AI + traditional app: AI handles document parsing and anomaly detection; deterministic rules handle calculations and compliance checks. The goal is not perfection—it’s reducing the most common cap table errors that blow up diligence late, waste partner time, and delay closes. Pricing targets small funds and startups that can’t justify heavy legal hours for every round but still need credible diligence artifacts.
