CapTableSim

CapTableSim is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that lets founders and early employees simulate fundraising outcomes in minutes—without needing a finance background. You enter your current cap table (or import from CSV), proposed round terms (pre/post money, option pool refresh, SAFEs/notes, pro-rata), and the app generates clear scenarios: ownership by stakeholder, dilution over time, liquidation preference waterfalls, and “what you actually take home” at different exit values. It also produces a one-page investor-ready snapshot you can attach to a pitch deck, plus a founder-facing “red flag” checklist that highlights terms that commonly hurt (stacked prefs, participating prefs, aggressive pool top-ups). This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional modeling for accuracy, AI to explain tradeoffs in plain English and suggest safer term ranges based on your stage and metrics.
