CaptionFix
CaptionFix is a web app (with a lightweight desktop uploader) for teams who already have auto-transcripts but waste hours fixing them. It ingests captions from Zoom, YouTube, Riverside, Descript, Rev, or Whisper outputs (SRT/VTT/DOCX) and runs a focused “caption QA” pass: speaker consistency, punctuation, filler-word policy, profanity redaction rules, brand glossary enforcement, and timing fixes (reading speed, line breaks, max chars per line). The UI is built for speed: keyboard-first editing, side-by-side waveform, and an error queue that jumps you to the next likely mistake instead of forcing full linear review. Export back to SRT/VTT with preserved timecodes and a change log for compliance. This is not a magical transcription replacement; it’s a practical post-editing accelerator that makes mediocre auto-captions shippable with less human pain.
