CaratClaim is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps jewelry owners document pieces properly, maintain care schedules, and file insurance claims with fewer back-and-forth emails. Users create a “claim-ready” vault by scanning receipts/appraisals, capturing guided photos and short videos, and logging serial numbers, hallmarks, and repair history. The app generates insurer-friendly documentation packets and reminders for re-appraisals, prong checks, and servicing based on stone type and wear frequency. If something is lost, stolen, or damaged, CaratClaim walks users through a structured incident report, pulls the right evidence, and produces a submission bundle for their insurer. Reality check: insurers won’t magically approve claims faster, and carriers vary widely in requirements—so the product wins by reducing user mistakes, missing documents, and delays, not by “guaranteeing” payouts.
