CareClause is a mobile + web app that helps host families and au pairs set expectations in writing before problems start. It guides both sides through a structured “living agreement” covering schedule, duties, driving rules, phone use, curfew, guests, privacy, stipend handling, sick days, and conflict escalation. It includes a weekly schedule builder, a lightweight check-in flow, and a change-log so edits are visible and mutually acknowledged. The app also provides country/state-specific compliance prompts (not legal advice) and a shared folder for key documents (IDs, insurance, emergency contacts). The goal is not matchmaking; it’s reducing misunderstandings and creating a paper trail that makes mediation easier. This is a traditional app with a small AI component to summarize check-ins and flag recurring friction themes.
