CareCue

CareCue is a mobile app (iOS/Android) that gives parents quick, medically-sourced first-aid checklists for common kid incidents—fever, choking, head bumps, allergic reactions, cuts, burns, poisoning, and breathing issues. It starts with a 20-second “what’s happening?” flow that outputs clear next steps, what to watch for, and when to call emergency services or poison control. It also includes a one-tap emergency card with the child’s weight, allergies, meds, and pediatrician info for faster handoffs. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used only to translate symptoms into the right guideline pathway and to generate plain-language instructions, but all pathways are locked to vetted protocols and reviewed content. Offline mode is included because emergencies happen without signal. The app is honest about limits: it cannot diagnose, and it will frequently advise calling a professional when uncertainty is high.
