CareGenie
CareGenie is a patient-facing mobile + web app that converts raw genetic test outputs (23andMe, Ancestry, clinical labs via PDF/VCF) plus meds, conditions, and labs into a practical “next steps” checklist for primary care visits. It focuses on high-signal, guideline-backed items: hereditary cancer red flags (when to seek confirmatory testing), familial hypercholesterolemia screening prompts, medication-gene interactions (PGx) summaries, and family cascade-testing suggestions. It does not pretend to diagnose; it generates a structured report patients can share with clinicians, including citations, confidence levels, and what data is missing. The app also tracks follow-through (appointments, referrals, lab orders) and stores documents in a secure vault. Realistically, the hardest part is trust and compliance: you’ll need conservative language, clear limitations, and tight clinical review to avoid becoming “another genetics misinformation app.”
