CareLedger

CareLedger is a mobile + web app for couples to track the “invisible labor” that quietly fuels resentment: planning, remembering, emotional support, family logistics, and household management. Instead of only tracking chores, partners log quick “care entries” (e.g., booked pediatrician, called landlord, planned trip, handled conflict with in-laws) with optional time/effort ratings. The app turns entries into a weekly snapshot: who carried which domains, what went unnoticed, and where load is drifting. It then guides a 10-minute weekly check-in with prompts that force specificity (“What did you do that you think I didn’t see?”) and a simple renegotiation tool to rebalance domains. It’s not therapy and won’t fix toxic relationships; it’s a practical accountability system for otherwise functional couples who keep arguing about fairness and feeling unappreciated.
