CareRelay

CareRelay is a mobile + web app that standardizes daily childcare handoffs between parents, nannies, babysitters, and backup caregivers. Instead of scattered texts, it provides a structured shift timeline: meals, naps, meds, diaper/toilet, activities, screen time, and notable behaviors. The core value is incident-proof documentation: quick “what happened” cards (injury, allergy exposure, missed nap, late pickup) with timestamp, photo, and witness notes, plus an exportable report for pediatricians or insurance. It also includes a simple “house rules” checklist (safe sleep, food restrictions, emergency contacts) that a sitter must acknowledge before a shift starts. This is not a marketplace; it’s a lightweight operations tool for families who already have caregivers. Realistically, growth comes from word-of-mouth among nanny networks and parent groups, but retention depends on being faster than texting.
