CareRoster

CareRoster is a mobile + web app for multigenerational households managing elder care, childcare, and shared home responsibilities without endless group texts. It centralizes a weekly roster (meds, school pickups, appointments, chores), a shared shopping list, and a lightweight “who’s on duty” status so everyone knows what’s covered. The app includes permissioned roles (adult kids, grandparents, paid caregiver, neighbor) and a simple check-in log for sensitive tasks (meds given, blood pressure recorded, child picked up). An AI assistant can turn messy chat-like notes into structured tasks, suggest schedules based on availability, and flag conflicts (two appointments overlapping, missed medication window). It’s realistic: it won’t fix family dynamics, but it will reduce avoidable mistakes, duplicated effort, and last-minute panic by making responsibilities explicit and trackable.
