CareShift

CareShift is a mobile + web app for families coordinating care for an older adult or chronically ill relative. It centralizes the messy reality: who is doing what, when meds were taken, upcoming appointments, and what the doctor actually said. The core is a shared care calendar with task ownership, a simple daily check-in (pain, mood, symptoms), and a running “care log” that any approved caregiver can update in seconds. It also includes a lightweight document vault for insurance cards, discharge papers, and advance directives, plus one-tap export to PDF for clinic visits. This is not a medical device—it's coordination and record-keeping. An optional AI assistant summarizes the care log into a weekly brief and flags missed tasks or concerning trends, but the app stays usable without AI.
