CargoGauge is a mobile + web app that helps shoppers and owners compare real, usable cargo space across SUVs and crossovers using standardized, repeatable measurements—not marketing liters. It provides a simple “fits or doesn’t” library for common items (strollers, golf bags, carry-on suitcases, dog crates, flat-pack boxes) and shows how much space remains with 1–3 rows up. Users can search by model/year/trim and see verified community submissions with photo proof, measurement templates, and confidence scores. The app also includes a quick “my gear list” planner that recommends which SUVs will fit your specific items and whether roof boxes or hitch racks are required. This is not glamorous, but it targets a constant, expensive pain: buying the wrong SUV for your real life and discovering it too late.
