CargoSpread

CargoSpread is a web + mobile app that tracks ocean freight and inland logistics costs that quietly make or break physical commodity margins. It aggregates key shipping indices (e.g., dry bulk, tanker, container proxies), port congestion signals, and AIS-derived vessel flow into simple route-level “delivered cost” spreads (FOB vs CFR/CIF style views). Users can set watchlists for lanes (e.g., USGC→NW Europe, Brazil→China), get alerts when freight moves enough to flip arb economics, and export a clean audit trail for internal pricing and risk meetings. This is not a full ETRM replacement; it’s a lightweight decision layer focused on the freight component that many desks still track in messy spreadsheets and chat messages. The product lives or dies on data quality and clarity, not fancy dashboards.
