CartProof Go is a mobile app + retailer web dashboard that makes scan-and-go viable for mid-market grocery and convenience stores without turning every shopper into a suspect. Shoppers scan items with their phone, but the app quietly verifies the cart using lightweight signals: receipt-item “confidence scoring,” random micro-audits, and optional low-cost Bluetooth shelf beacons at high-shrink zones (spirits, cosmetics). At checkout, the app generates a dynamic QR that encodes the basket plus a short-lived verification token for the POS attendant or self-checkout camera lane. The retailer dashboard shows shrink hotspots, audit outcomes, and which SKUs cause the most scan errors (often mislabeled barcodes, not theft). This is not a magic anti-theft system; it’s a pragmatic workflow that reduces friction while giving stores enough control to expand scan-and-go beyond a small pilot.
