CartSnipe is a mobile + browser-extension app that watches items you’re about to buy and tells you, in plain terms, whether you should purchase now or wait. It scans prices across major retailers, tracks historical pricing, flags fake “discounts,” and surfaces better alternatives (same SKU or closest match) including shipping and return costs. Users set a max price and CartSnipe sends alerts when the real out-the-door price drops. It also checks coupon codes, cashback offers, and credit-card-linked promos, but only shows options that actually apply to your cart (no junk codes). The business model is affiliate revenue + a small premium tier for faster alerts, more tracked items, and multi-store price protection. Brutal truth: you’ll only win if your data quality and “trust score” are better than incumbents; otherwise you’re just another deals app.
