CartWatch
CartWatch is a mobile + web app for golf courses to reduce cart-related damage, incidents, and staff time spent policing cart rules. It uses low-cost GPS tracking via a small phone-sized device in each cart (or a course-owned phone) to create geofenced “no-go” zones (wet areas, greens surrounds, newly sodded sections) and speed limits. When a cart enters a restricted zone or exceeds speed, the system logs the event, alerts the ranger/starter, and can trigger an on-cart audible warning (optional hardware). Staff get heatmaps showing where carts repeatedly break rules, so the course can adjust signage, ropes, or routing. This is not glamorous, but it targets a real operational headache: turf repair costs, guest disputes, and safety exposure. The MVP focuses on reliable tracking, simple rules, and actionable reporting—not fancy analytics.
