CascadeMap

CascadeMap is a web app (with optional desktop agent) for mapping and stress-testing complex socio-technical systems: microservices, data pipelines, vendor dependencies, on-call processes, and human handoffs. Users build a dependency graph from imports (Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, incident postmortems) and quick manual links, then run “what-if” scenarios: a region outage, a key engineer out, a vendor rate-limit, or a schema change. The app highlights likely cascade paths, single points of failure, and brittle feedback loops using graph analytics and simple simulation (not magic). It produces actionable outputs: prioritized hardening tasks, runbook gaps, and monitoring recommendations tied to nodes/edges. This is not a full-blown digital twin; it’s a pragmatic risk lens that teams can maintain without a PhD. Expect some setup work and imperfect data—value comes from making dependencies explicit and reviewable.
