CaseShield
CaseShield is a mobile + web app that helps people and frontline organizations capture, store, and share human-rights evidence in a way that actually holds up under scrutiny. Users can record video, photos, audio, and notes with automatic metadata (time, location, device info) and tamper-evident hashing, then upload to an encrypted vault even on unstable networks. A guided “incident form” reduces mistakes that make evidence unusable, and a share workflow lets users generate time-limited, role-based access links for lawyers, journalists, or NGOs. An AI assistant can help redact faces/identifiers, translate statements, and summarize timelines—while keeping originals intact. This is not a magic safety tool: it won’t stop retaliation or guarantee legal outcomes. It’s a practical chain-of-custody layer that many ad-hoc reporting methods lack.
