CaseSifter

CaseSifter is a web app (with optional desktop uploader) for tax agencies and public finance audit units to triage enforcement leads using a transparent, rules-plus-AI risk engine. It ingests structured data (returns, invoices, payroll, customs, property, business registry) and unstructured tips (emails, PDFs), then flags anomalies like VAT carousel patterns, payroll underreporting, shell-company networks, and sudden margin shifts. Unlike black-box “AI audit” tools, it produces an evidence pack: which fields triggered the score, comparable peer benchmarks, and a reproducible audit trail for internal review and legal defensibility. It includes workflow for assignment, notes, document requests, and outcome tracking so models can be recalibrated based on what actually resulted in assessments. Realistically, procurement cycles are slow and data quality is messy, so the product is designed to start with one dataset and expand incrementally.
