CashCast is a web app (with optional mobile alerts) that predicts near-term cash flow for small and mid-sized businesses using bank transactions, invoices, bills, and payroll schedules. It connects to accounting systems and bank feeds, categorizes cash movements, and produces rolling 13-week forecasts with confidence bands. The app flags weeks where cash will likely dip below a user-set threshold and explains the drivers (late-paying customers, tax payments, inventory buys, payroll spikes). It also simulates “what-if” scenarios: delaying a vendor payment, accelerating collections, drawing on a credit line, or changing payment terms. This is an AI app plus traditional rules: AI improves categorization and anomaly detection, while deterministic logic keeps forecasts auditable. The goal is not perfect prediction—it's early warning and decision-ready levers, delivered in plain language and simple dashboards.
