CaskCount is a mobile + web app for bars and restaurants that turns messy liquor and wine inventory into a fast, repeatable weekly process. Staff scan bottle barcodes/labels, enter quick partial-bottle levels with a guided slider, and the app reconciles counts against POS sales to flag shrink, over-pours, comps, and missing transfers. It generates variance reports by SKU, category, and bartender shift, plus a simple reorder list based on par levels and lead times. This is a traditional app with light AI: it uses computer vision to recognize bottle labels and a model to detect anomalies (e.g., “this tequila is consistently off on Friday nights”). It’s not trying to be a tasting notes community; it’s operational control. Expect some manual input—there’s no magic—but it makes the work faster and more accurate than spreadsheets.
