CastPulse

CastPulse is a mobile + web app for theater companies to reduce rehearsal chaos by tracking attendance, lateness, and real-time ETA with lightweight check-ins. Actors tap “On my way,” “Running late,” or “Here,” optionally sharing a temporary location-based ETA window (not continuous tracking). Stage management gets a live dashboard, automatic roll call, and a timeline of arrivals to decide whether to hold, start with understudies, or reorder scenes. The app also sends targeted reminders (call time changes, costume calls) and logs reliability metrics over a production—useful for future casting decisions, but presented carefully to avoid creating a toxic vibe. It integrates with Google Calendar/Outlook for call times and supports multiple productions per organization. This is not glamorous; it’s operational plumbing that saves minutes every rehearsal, which adds up fast across a run.
