CastRights

CastRights is a web app (with optional desktop uploader) that helps podcasters avoid copyright and licensing problems by scanning episodes before publishing. You upload an audio file (or connect your host), and it detects likely third-party music, TV/movie audio, and other risky segments, then produces a simple “risk report” with timestamps and recommended fixes (remove, replace with licensed track, or document permission). It also stores release forms, guest permissions, and music licenses in a searchable vault tied to each episode. This is not a magic legal shield: it reduces obvious mistakes and creates an audit trail that helps when platforms or rights-holders dispute content. The MVP focuses on pre-flight checks and documentation, not full legal automation. Pricing is subscription-based for indie shows and networks, with higher tiers for multi-show teams and compliance exports.
