CertSentry is a web + mobile app that helps small businesses and property managers control third‑party liability exposure by collecting, verifying, and monitoring Certificates of Insurance (COIs) from vendors, contractors, and tenants. Users set insurance requirements (limits, additional insured, waiver of subrogation, policy dates), invite counterparties to upload COIs, and get alerts for expirations or missing endorsements. The app flags common red flags (wrong entity name, mismatched dates, inadequate limits) and keeps an audit trail for claims disputes. It also centralizes vendor profiles, job locations, and contract attachments so teams stop chasing PDFs across email threads. This is not a replacement for an insurance broker; it’s a compliance workflow tool that reduces preventable coverage gaps and speeds up renewals. Expect some manual review at first—COIs are messy and inconsistent—but the workflow still saves time and reduces risk.
