CertSnap

CertSnap is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps employers, training providers, and candidates verify education and micro-credentials quickly without endless emails and manual checks. Issuers upload a credential template and sign each issued credential with a verifiable link and tamper-evident metadata. Verifiers can scan a QR code or paste a link to confirm authenticity, issuer identity, and whether the credential is still valid (revoked/expired). The product focuses on the messy middle of credentials: short courses, bootcamps, continuing education, and internal corporate training—where verification is often ad hoc and fraud is common. It includes lightweight issuer onboarding, a public verification page, and an audit trail for compliance. This is not a “new blockchain standard” pitch; it’s a practical verification workflow that fits existing processes and can export proof reports for HR files.
