ChainCheck is a mobile + web AI-assisted authentication and chain-of-custody tool for designer resale. Instead of trying to “beat” expert authenticators with image-only AI (which is unreliable and legally risky), it focuses on verifiable evidence: seller identity, purchase provenance, shipping custody, and item-specific capture protocols. Sellers record a guided capture session (video + required angles, micro-details, measurements) and optionally add receipts, boutique emails, and repair records. The app generates a tamper-evident “Provenance Packet” with timestamps, device attestation, and custody events (handoff to carrier, arrival, inspection). Resale shops and marketplaces can use it to triage listings, route high-risk items to human experts, and reduce chargebacks. Consumers can scan a QR on the listing to see what evidence exists, what’s missing, and a clear risk score—no fake certainty.
