ChainCue

ChainCue is a mobile app (with an optional web dashboard) that helps cyclists track drivetrain wear and maintenance with far more accuracy than “every X miles.” You log rides automatically via Strava/Apple Health import, then the app estimates chain and cassette wear using your bike setup (chain type, cassette range), riding conditions (rain, grit), and your cleaning/lube habits. It nudges you with realistic, non-alarmist reminders and a simple checklist: clean, lube, check chain stretch, replace chain, inspect cassette. The core value is preventing the common (and costly) mistake of riding a worn chain until it ruins the cassette and chainrings. It also stores receipts, parts history, and lets you set multiple bikes. This is not glamorous, but it saves money and reduces breakdowns—especially for commuters and high-mileage riders.
