ChainCustody
ChainCustody is a web + mobile app for national-security teams to track and prove chain-of-custody for sensitive digital artifacts: documents, briefing decks, intel notes, evidence photos, and exported datasets. It creates an immutable audit trail of access, edits, exports, and transfers across agencies and contractors, including offline capture with later sync. Instead of trying to replace existing classified systems, it integrates at the edges: it can wrap files before they enter email, shared drives, or case tools, and it can generate court-ready or inspector-general-ready reports in minutes. It supports role-based access, time-bound permissions, and tamper-evident receipts for every action. The AI component is limited and practical: it auto-classifies artifact type, flags policy violations (e.g., sharing to an unapproved domain), and summarizes audit events for compliance reviews. This is not glamorous, but it targets a real operational gap: proving accountability without drowning teams in manual logs.
