ChainOfCust

ChainOfCust is a mobile + web app for homeland security teams to capture, label, transfer, and audit digital and physical evidence with a defensible chain of custody. Field users scan QR/NFC tags, attach photos/video, GPS/time stamps, and witness notes, then generate a signed custody record that follows the item across teams and facilities. Supervisors see real-time status, exceptions (missing signatures, late transfers), and an exportable audit package for legal review. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps auto-redact faces/plates, suggest standardized incident categories, and flag anomalies (e.g., evidence handled outside policy windows). The product is designed for low-connectivity environments with offline-first capture and later sync. It doesn’t pretend to replace existing case management systems; it plugs into them via APIs and focuses on the “messy middle” between field collection and formal systems of record.
