ChainOfCust

ChainOfCust is a web + mobile app for creating defensible chain-of-custody records for high-value cultural objects (art, watches, rare books, wine, memorabilia). Instead of trying to “prove authenticity” with vague AI claims, it focuses on what wins disputes: time-stamped custody events, identity-verified signers, and tamper-evident evidence bundles (photos, invoices, shipping docs, condition reports). Each transfer, consignment, restoration, or appraisal is recorded as a signed event, producing an exportable provenance dossier that can be shared with buyers, insurers, auction houses, and lawyers. The app supports private-by-default records, selective disclosure, and standardized templates aligned with common industry workflows. It won’t magically authenticate fakes; it makes the legitimate history harder to challenge and easier to audit, reducing friction in sales and insurance underwriting.
