Users scan a product page URL or barcode, then the app pulls materials, joinery type, weight capacity, dimensions, and warranty details. It also analyzes review text to detect recurring failure modes (wobble, sagging, peeling veneer, stripped screws) and flags suspicious review patterns. For common categories (dining chairs, bed frames, sofas, desks), it provides a short checklist of what to look for and what to avoid, plus “better alternatives” at similar prices. This is not magic: it won’t perfectly predict longevity, but it will reliably catch obvious red flags and reduce expensive returns.
