ChangeScribe

ChangeScribe is a web app (with optional GitHub/GitLab integrations) that generates accurate, reviewable release notes and changelogs from commit history, PR titles, labels, and issue links. Instead of generic AI summaries, it enforces a structured template (Keep a Changelog, SemVer, or your custom format), flags missing context, and asks targeted questions when the source data is ambiguous. It also detects breaking changes, deprecations, security fixes, and user-facing vs internal changes, then routes drafts to the right reviewers. The goal is not to “write for you,” but to eliminate the tedious, error-prone part of technical writing: collecting, categorizing, and formatting changes across teams. Output can be published to Markdown, Confluence, Notion, or a docs repo PR so the final human edit happens where teams already work.
