ChantCoach

ChantCoach is a mobile app (iOS/Android) that helps individuals and small choirs practice sacred chant with immediate, non-judgmental feedback. Users pick a tradition pack (Gregorian, Byzantine, Vedic, Sufi, Buddhist, etc.), then sing along with a reference drone/tonic and a simple score/lyric view. The app listens and shows whether you’re staying on the intended pitch center, hitting intervals, and keeping steady tempo—without trying to “auto-tune” your voice. It also includes call-and-response practice, loopable phrases, and a “service mode” that quickly assembles a setlist for a liturgy/ceremony. This is not a generic music-learning app; it’s built for chant realities: drones, micro-variations, long phrases, and memorization. Monetization is subscriptions for tradition packs and group licenses for choirs/temples, plus one-time purchases for curated chant libraries.
