ChapterCue

ChapterCue is a mobile + web app for book clubs that replaces messy group chats with a simple, structured reading flow. Organizers set the book, schedule, and chapter checkpoints; members get reminders, quick polls, and a single place to discuss without spoilers. The app gates discussions by progress (e.g., “Up to Chapter 6”), so people can participate safely even if they’re behind. It also generates meeting agendas and discussion prompts from the selected book’s public synopsis and user-added notes (not pirated text), then lets members submit highlights and questions as they read. The recommendation layer is lightweight: the club votes on next picks using constraints (length, genre, mood, availability in libraries/Kindle), and ChapterCue surfaces options with availability links. Monetization is a small subscription for clubs that want multiple groups, calendar integrations, and advanced moderation.
