ChargeBacker is a web + mobile AI-assisted app that helps short-term rental hosts and property managers reduce chargebacks and payment disputes by building a clean, time-stamped evidence packet automatically. It pulls reservation details, house rules, messages, check-in/out times, and damage/cleaning documentation into a single, exportable dispute file tailored to common card network requirements. The mobile app focuses on fast capture: guided photo/video checklists, automatic metadata (time, location, device), and tamper-evident logs. The web app handles integrations, packet generation, and templates for different dispute reasons (fraud, not-as-described, service not rendered). This is not a “manage everything” PMS; it’s a narrow tool for a painful, expensive problem that most hosts handle ad hoc in email threads and messy folders. Expect some integrations to be limited by platform APIs, so the MVP should start with manual uploads plus Gmail/Outlook forwarding.
