ChargeBacker

ChargeBacker is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps suppliers and distributors detect, dispute, and recover retailer chargebacks and deductions tied to invoices, POs, and deliveries. It ingests remittance advice, EDI 820/810/856 files, and PDF/email deductions, then matches each deduction to shipment proof (BOL/POD), contract terms, and agreed pricing. The system flags likely-invalid deductions (e.g., short-ship claims contradicted by POD, late delivery penalties outside carrier scan windows, duplicate deductions) and generates a complete dispute packet with supporting documents and a standardized appeal letter. A workflow tracks deadlines, owner, retailer portal submission status, and expected recovery value. This is not glamorous: it’s operationally messy, but companies lose real money here and most still manage it in spreadsheets and inboxes.
